We offer two products. The Chum Bobber allows you to deliver chum wherever you want to cast your line. It floats on the water’s surface and attracts fish to your baited hook. The Chum Tube is also able to be cast. It is submersible and conveniently delivers chum to the area of your baited hook wherever you want to bottom fish. Both the Chum Bobber and Chum Tube can be used for fishing in freshwater, brackish water and saltwater.

Meet the Founders

Charlie’s Chum on the Spot was founded by Matt Troshinsky. Matt became interested in fishing when his son was 3 years old – 20 years ago. The Charlie’s Chum on the Spot “gadgets” resulted from the frustration of dispensing chum in the water, only to seemingly be chumming for the folks fishing downstream. After years of trial and error, he developed these gadgets to offer the person fishing a better way to chum.

Timmy Dobson, Matt’s business partner, is a 5th generation waterman, born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

His lifetime’s worth of knowledge comes from the grit and determination needed to survive and provide for his family when failure on the water could not be an option.
